Day 22 part 2

As I was walking Bear tonight around in the yard, I realized that there are so many things I have missed seeing for so long now. I looked up in the sky and the moon was rising so huge and beautiful in the sky! I haven't seen it rise like that in so long!

I looked through the pictures of the past few days and found the beautiful fall leaves and the wonderful view down the road where I live... Its all still here and happening and I was missing all of it until I started getting out and having to walk my dog, Bear.

I have to remember these moments when I get home from work and am greeted by a mine field of chewed up soda bottles and the obligatory noon time mess that he missed going out for even though I walked him repeatedly this morning before leaving. I also have to realize that it was only one mess and that he is only six months old and, all things considered, it could have been a whole lot worse!

Where did I put that list of possible sponsors?

Happy wandering!

I don't live in the country like you do, but I am aware of things very much because I have to walk the Überhund. The crisp clean air in the morning that is do clear that it makes everything stand out like it is in Technicolor, and the crispness of the frozen morning dew on the grass. The layer of fog that hangs only over the field and the early sun rising, but not yet warm enough to make a difference. Such moments are precious to me and I would miss them if it were not for the Überhund.

You have accurately expressed something that I have been thinking for years of dog walking. We walk no matter the season and no matter the weather and some days the beauty of the landscape makes me catch my breath. I would miss a lot if it weren't for dog walk duty.

Those pictures are lovely, and I am jealous. I have been trying to get a picture of the moon for forever now and none of mine turn out right.

Hi once more fellow doggy fan.I just want to amend my error,Pound was meant, not pond. Not the greatest keyboard skills.Like the idea of dogs in Catskills. Is that not the area Woody Allen and other
New York wits honed their emerging
performance skills? It sure did the
trick. bye Ken
