Day 65

I am seriously bummed this morning! As you can see from the photo above, there was snow just not here. Bear did get a taste of some that had collected on the leaves a few minutes ago, but did not get to play in the predicted 3-7 inches they were calling for all day yesterday.

Every school in the county either didn't open at all or released the children by noon yesterday because of this storm.

All evening activities, everywhere, were canceled last night.

Everyone in the county was expecting to wake up this morning to a snowday and ya know what we got? A whole lot of wind and some flurries.

Even as I write this, it is snowing outside and blowing like a bat. Is anything laying? No.

This storm was a gyp and I feel seriously cheated because, for the first time in my life, I was really looking forward to coming home and shoveling because Bear would be playing in his first snow with me while I did it.

Well, maybe next time. There will be other storms this year, I'm sure.

Happy wandering!

Sorry to hear that the snoww did not fall as predicted... I'm sure there will be plenty of chances for snow, as we are just getting started into the fall/winter season.

I'm sure you'll have plenty of snow to play in this winter. By February you'll be longing for clear skies and driveways.

Well, to bad about the snow, but 'm sure you'll see planty, unlike us Dutch people. On the rare occasion it does snow, it clumps to the Überhund's paws and belly and slowly melts inside the living room, making little puddles. I don't know if he minds the snow, he doesn't seem to care much one way or the other. Hope Bear has a blast when the snow does come.

I'm sure when he does get to play in it he will have a blast. My boxer likes to play in the snow a little bit but once she gets her fill of it she's ready to go back in where its warm. My yorkie doesn't care for the cold at all so she doesn't get into playing in it.
